TUTORING INFORMATION
Subject Tutoring Appointments: Once you’ve made an appointment, please have access to your course materials, assignment, and textbook. Your subject tutor will work with you one-on-one to review concepts, work through examples, clarify your understanding, and answer your questions. NOTE: Subject tutors are not allowed to assist with graded assignments or homework problems. Tutors will review concepts using example problems and supplementary teaching techniques.
Writing Lab Appointments: The consultation is not an editing session; instead, sessions are designed to be a collaborative instructional experience. Bring your ideas and be ready to work with your tutor to explore your work in detail.
Asynchronous Essay Feedback (Commentary Without Meeting with a Tutor): Asynchronous essay feedback is provided through the ThinkingStorm tutoring platform. Through this platform, students have access to essay feedback for up to ten hours per semester. ThinkingStorm can be accessed by clicking here.
